Forty-three people were indicted in federal court for their roles in two separate conspiracies to sell large amounts of drugs in the Mansfield area.  The drugs included fentanyl, heroin, oxycodone, marijuana, crack cocaine, cocaine and methamphetamine.

Some of these drugs were supplied in Detroit and brought to Mansfield to be sold and distributed.  The members of this conspiracy also ran several drug houses that their drugs were sold out of.

These cases were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Mansfield Police Department, Richland County Sheriff’s Office, METRICH Drug Task Force, Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals and Ohio State Highway Patrol. They are being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Vasile Katsaros and Jason M. Katz.
