The term EMT stands for Emergency Medical Technician. This term is not to be confused with EMS which means emergency medical services An EMT is one of the most common medical professionals. Usually, an EMT will take a course around 150 hours long and have to pass an exam to become certified. Most EMTs are dispatched by 911 to emergency situations and provide emergency care.
Our court reporters (stenographers) are in depositions with EMTs and other healthcare officials all the time. Each deposition is different and brings different medical terms to the case. Our court reporters would like to share the steno briefs that they use to make efficient and accurate transcripts and retain their reputation as the best court reporters in Cleveland.
